A permanent place in Required Core

The current Dr. Testo product keeps four fixed Core actions for everyone. Resistance Training is always included; Body Composition, Energy Availability, and Alcohol can appear as profile-dependent Personal Priority rows.

That product decision does not mean every workout produces a guaranteed long-term hormone change. A systematic review and meta-analysis reported little effect of exercise training on resting testosterone in insufficiently active, otherwise healthy men.

Acute response and longer direction

Exercise can create short-lived physiological responses. The app's longer-running view has a different job: it tracks whether the behavior is actually becoming part of the protocol.

  1. The protocol presents the action.
  2. The check-in records execution.
  3. Progress gives the behavior a dated history.
  4. Base changes on its own slower product timeline.

What a useful screen should answer

The interface should make three things obvious: what is required, whether it was completed, and how the pattern has developed. This keeps training practical without turning a single session into a dramatic claim.
